Introduction

In the preceding sections, I discussed how to write expository and narrative articles, following a structured outline; I then gave examples.  These articles are only two of many types of articles; others include persuasive, descriptive, categorical, and more.  Many textbooks explain how to write these types of articles, and there are many examples on the Internet.  I hope you will study these other textbook sources, so that you can assimilate and synthesize your own, preferred writing style.  (Of course, the best way to develop a writing style is to read great literature that is relatively easy for you to assimilate, and which you find interesting.)  In this section, I will discuss certain expository and narrative articles that are used in exam writing.
