[TS] Pets can be divided into five types.
[S1] The first and biggest groups are the mammals, which give milk to their young and are clever; examples are dogs, as well as cats.
[S2] The next are birds, which have feathers / wings and lay eggs; the main ones people keep are parrots and canaries, as they are interesting.
[S3] After that are the fish, which have gills and scales; many people like goldfish and tropical fish, which they keep in glass bowls.
[S4] Then there are the reptiles, which are cold-blooded and hibernate in the winter; a few brave people keep snakes, as well as tortoises and lizards.
[S5] The last group are the invertebrates, which have no backbones and are very primitive; of these, snails and butterflies are the most interesting.

[TS] Zhi Da has told us we must pick cotton again in Shihezi “bing tuan”, and this time for four weeks; we have been talking about this news, and we have many feelings.

[S1] Some forms of music have been around for as long as people can remember; folk music is one of the main ones.
[S2] In the late 1600's / early 1700's, baroque music was developed in Europe.
[S3] From the 1780's to about 1900, opera and classical music were developed, especially in Europe.
[S4] Between 1900 and 1970, many different types of music appeared in the world; different forms of jazz (Dixieland, blues, swing) were very popular before WW2, and country / R & B / early rock spread everywhere after 1945.
[S5] Certain types of “modern” music are very popular with young people today, such as hip-hop and popular music; other types of music are also popular and widespread, such as rock and reggae.
